This is a 4-way, 3-position, spool type, direct acting solenoid valve. In the center condition, ports 2 and 4 are closed while port 3 is connected to port 1. By energizing one coil, port 3 opens to 2 and port 4 to 1. When energizing the other coil, port 3 opens to 4 and port 2 to 1. This valve provides a directional control function with a neutral de energized state allowing the inlet flow to pass to tank or to another function while the work ports are blocked. It can be used in any hydraulic application where an actuator needs to be controlled in both directions. Always check the operating envelope to make sure the valve will work under the required application conditions. Port 1 is not intended for use as inlet (Tank only)

This is a 2-way, 2-position, poppet type, pilot operated, normally open solenoid valve. In its de-energized condition, flow can take place from port 2 to 1 but is restricted in the other direction. When energized, flow can take place from port 1 to 2 but is blocked in the other direction. Leakage is kept to a minimum due to the poppet design. Some models have the option of a filter around port 2, and these come standard with a push pin manual override. These valves can be used to hold loads in position when energized or bypass excess oil to tank in a fail-safe way.

 OPERATION AND DESCRIPTION 
This is a 2-way, 2-position, poppet type, pilot operated, normally closed solenoid valve. In its de-energized condition, flow passes from port 1 to 2 but is  blocked in the opposite direction. When energized, flow passes from port 2 to 1 and from 1 to 2. Some models have the option of a fllter at port 2. Due  to the low leakage provided by the poppet design, these valves can be used to hold loads in position or to interrupt a pressure line where flow normally  passes in both directions.

This is a 4-way, 3-position, spool type, non-compensated proportional directional valve. In its de-energized condition, port 3 is blocked, while ports 2 and 4 are open to port 1. Increasing the current to the bottom coil will cause the spool to move, proportionally opening flow from port 3 to 2 with return flow passing from port 4 to 1. Increasing the current to the top coil will proportionally open flow from port 3 to 4 with return flow passing from port 2 to 1. Using this as a variable orifice in conjunction with a compensator, the valve will provide compensated flow to an actuator in both directions.
